What can I put in my pack?
If you want a pack that covers the entire duration of your period, so you can rest easy for 5 to 7 years, you can either put together a pack of 3 or 4 if you want to wash your panties during your period, or a pack of 7/8 if you want to wash them only at the end of your period. In the latter case, we recommend 2/3 pairs of SUPER absorbent panties, 3 pairs of MEDIUM absorbent panties and one pair of LIGHT absorbent panties. For night-time wear, the Boxer shape is ideal, as you can sleep with just a T-Shirt on top, as it covers like a pair of shorts!

Is it hygienic to wear period panties for 12 hours at a time?
Yes, because the fabrics used in Sisters Republic menstrual lingerie have been selected for their sanitary properties. Bamboo fiber is even a natural antibacterial. Only breathable organic and Oeko-Tex fabrics are used in our panties. Even after 12 hours, the pants remain hygienic and odorless.
Do I have to change my panties during the day?
Because we know that changing panties during the day isn't very practical (you have to isolate yourself, take off your pants, etc.). Our period panties can be worn for up to 12 hours without leaking, smelling or feeling damp, so it's not necessarily necessary to change them during the day. However, if you have a hemorrhagic flow and feel the need to alter your panties in the middle of the day, our Mia panties can be unzipped at the sides, so you can remove them without taking off your shoes or pants.
Can I use my Sister Republic panties during sport?
Yes, your Sisters Republic panties are ideal for protecting you during sport because, unlike sanitary towels which can slip or fold, the panties-and therefore the absorbent part integrated into them-always stay securely in place. All our models are perfectly suited to sporting activities. However, we particularly recommend the sports boxer, as it's really interlocking and will follow your every move perfectly.
Is it hygienic to soak in your own blood all day?
Firstly, contrary to popular belief, you don't soak in your own blood, because the 1st layer of fabric is breathable and dries very quickly. The airy weave allows liquid to pass quickly through the inside of the panty, leaving a dry feeling on the surface. The liquid is therefore directed, captured and retained by the absorbent fabric underneath, at the heart of the panty. Finally, unlike internal protection such as cups, tampons or menstrual sponges, period panties let the blood flow freely, so it doesn't stagnate in the vagina, which is the main cause of bacterial proliferation (and therefore of the very dangerous Toxic Shock Syndrome).
What are the delivery times?
Our panties are shipped directly from our French warehouses. Home delivery generally takes 24 to 72 hours and is free for orders over £80 (in mainland France). Delivery to a "point relais" can take an additional 24 to 48 hours, and is free from a purchase of £40 (in mainland France). When you place your order and select your shipping method, you'll be given an estimated delivery date.
Aren't menstrual pants more expensive than disposable sanitary pads?
It's true that it's an investment at the outset, but unlike other sanitary protection such as pads or tampons, menstrual panties are reusable and can last up to 7 years. A single pair of panties can replace 2275 tampons* (over 7 years). So menstrual pants really do save money in the medium term (* disposable protection saved ⇒ 5 tampons a day over 5 days of menstruation, 13 times a year (365/28 = 13) over 7 years = 2275). What's more, you'll find discounted packs in the store (-10% for purchases of 3 or more products, -15% for purchases of 5 or more products and -20% for purchases of 7 or more products), enabling you to place "group" orders, mixing different sizes and absorbency in the same basket.
